Senior Design Project Implementation: Accomplished

Yesterday at around 3AM, I was able to finish the implementation work for the BBB project – the senior design project that Lina and I have taken on under Laurent Michel. MIT Ballroom Competition Pictures and Results

MIT, Spring 2006

Lina and I went to MIT for their ballroom dancing competition held on April 22nd and 23rd. At the two-day competition, often referred to as the Super-Bowl of ballroom competitions, we competed in all nineteen bronze-level dances that they held, and Lina even competed in four silver-level dances with Arturo Mayorga. Competition was fairly stiff given the sheer number of couples that we were up against for each dance, but we still managed to do fairly well.

So Into Inquisitor

I generally tend to stay away from buying software, but once in a while a truly amazing piece of software arises to break that trend. I recently decided to put in the cash for Inquisitor. A product of David Watanabe, Inquisitor is an excellent example of the spectacular quality of his software. Since I started using Inquisitor earlier on in its product cycle, I was instantly hooked. I find now that I use Inquisitor more than I use the address bar! Inquisitor was definitely worth my 5€. For any frequent user of Safari (or Camino), I strongly recommend checking it out.

Two weekends ago, there was a collegiate ballroom dancing competition at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Lina and I competed pretty much every event (some of them up a level), and placed in most of them. Check out the pictures and let us know what you think!
