My kitchen leaves something to be desired if you're after gas stoves or a larger kitchen area in general. As you can see in the pictures, my floors are all 16" tile, which is really nice if you ask me. Much easier to take care of than hardwood, though not as plush, I suppose, depending on your tastes. I'm sure you'll be able to find something near Washington street that meets your criteria. I'd talk to Alexandra -- she's been great to me! As you can see, I have heigh (well over 9′) ceilings.
