True, Beejive doesn't store account information on their servers, but inevitably such information must be passed through their servers since all communication to/from any actual IM service is through their servers.

According to http://www.beejive.com/iphone, "All account information (usernames & passwords) are stored locally on your iPhone and not kept on our servers."

I agree - I frequently pull my phone out to see beejive has pushed a disconnection message to me! (MSN) I know there are privacy issues with keeping login credentials stored on beejive servers - but it just sucks to have to constantly re-op beejive to reconnect to msn and other services.
