Last weekend, MIT held its 2007 Open Ballroom Dance Competition conveniently just ten minutes from my new apartment. It was a real pleasure to see fellow teammates and competitors from around the country, and everyone had a blast!

MIT 2007 Ballroom Competition Recap
Earlier last month, Lina and I danced at the 8th Annual Holy Cross Ballroom Dance Competition and did very well. We took home several ribbons, including a couple of blue ones! I also managed to coax a few of our team members into taking pictures of us throughout the competition; those are posted online in the gallery as well. Read on for the full result breakdown.

Yale 2006 Ballroom Competition Results
A few months back, Lina and I competed at the 2006 Yale Winter Ballroom Competition. Just now I’ve finally found the time to catch up on compiling the results. We didn’t do so hot; only one placement, but we had a great time nonetheless! Read on for the full results breakdown.
As a homecoming of sorts for us, Lina and I competed at the Ninth Annual University of Connecticut Ballroom Competition last weekend. The competition was a blast, and we did alright.

Lina and I went to MIT for their ballroom dancing competition held on April 22nd and 23rd. At the two-day competition, often referred to as the Super-Bowl of ballroom competitions, we competed in all nineteen bronze-level dances that they held, and Lina even competed in four silver-level dances with Arturo Mayorga. Competition was fairly stiff given the sheer number of couples that we were up against for each dance, but we still managed to do fairly well.
Pictures are already posted online. Apparently while my camera was floating around, someone took a video of our American Waltz, so that’s up on the gallery as well.
